光晕：传奇
故事改外编自微软同名游戏。公元2552年，因为地球人口太多，人类不得不开始向星际间的殉众多行星移民，以开发新的空间。在某个太空移民组织突然消失后，派去调查此事的舰队仅有一艘战舰返回了基地。从此，外星种族星盟(Covenant)对人类的侵略就拉开了序幕，星盟的科技远远胜过于地球，逼得地球的军队节节败退，最后人类只好准备前往远方未探测过的宇宙寻求一线生机。在探测过程中，指挥官与他的组员被星盟舰队发现并追上。紧急关头，他们发现了Halo，一个巨大的异形环状世界，那里有着一万公里的直径与可呼吸的气体。在这个巨大的具有生命的圆环里，居住着不可思议的生物、奇特的植物、扭曲的地下巢穴、巨大的山脉，以及数不尽的充满怒气的异形。在飞船被击毁之后，部分的人类组员登陆在Halo的表面上开始了一场与星盟的战争……

In this season, the show went back to airing one new episode a week, but stayed in the hour-length format, filling up the second half-hour with episodes from previous seasons and some of the prime-time specials from the 1980s. This entire season, along with the second half of season 6, is available on Garfield and Friends Volume 5 DVD set. Also worth noting is that here, a new theme song was added that was written by J.R. Johnston and Neil Panton. The theme was sung by J.R. Johnston. This theme song was not shown internationally, and as a result, it does not appear on the DVDs (although Garfield's quotations are kept intact). This new introduction sequence used most clips from Seasons 5-7 and a few from the first two seasons, as well as Garfield in Paradise and Garfield's Feline Fantasies. The episodes stopped using a few seconds of the theme playing in the episode title cards after season seven's fourth episode; music from the episodes were used in the title cards until the show ended, even though season six used music from some of their episodes.

A young boy takes his mother's place in a group of gemstone-based beings, and must learn to control his powers. This series is set in the fictional Beach City, where ageless alien warriors, the Crystal Gems, live in an ancient beachside temple, protecting the world from evil. They project female humanoid forms from magical gemstones that are the core of their being. The Crystal Gems are Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Steven, a young half-human, half-Gem boy who inherited his gemstone from his mother, the Gems' former leader Rose Quartz. As Steven tries to figure out his powers, he spends his days with his human father Greg, his friend Connie, other people in Beach City, or the other Gems, whether to help them save the world or just to hang out. He explores the abilities passed down to him by his mother, which include fusion (the ability of Gems to merge their identities and bodies to form a new and more powerful personality).

这部剧是08年下半年冒出来好得出人意外的爆笑小喜剧。本来作者想拍个电视剧，但找不到真人演出，又找不到动画师帮他画，于是就自己摸索著用动画软体做了个短片，然后拿去参展，竟然被HBO看上，就此搬上萤幕，成为继Flight of the Conchords后，HBO又一最新喜剧杰作。本剧围绕主人公TIM的工作生活展开，讲述了这个囧男每天被同事调侃，被女友折腾，被朋友涮锅的种种窘事。整集25分钟的动画，虽说没有笑的前仰后合，不过一直是让人欲笑还抑之的状态。虽然画面很简单，甚至可以用简陋来形容，不过精彩诙谐的对白完全弥补了画面的缺憾，甚至使原本简单的画面更透出一股灵气。更加值得一提的是，本剧的配音演员口齿清晰，发音纯正，语速虽然快，不过用词简单，是难得的学习口语的优秀教材。不过先提一下，毕竟是成人动画，所以有些段子还是有点颜色的，不要把它想象成PG或者是G级别的动画。
◎9.9▶海绵宝宝：珊瑚营地
Nickelodeon正式宣布《海绵宝宝》角色首部衍生剧信息：该前传动画剧正式定名为《Kamp Koral SpongeBob's Under Years》，将在2020-21播出季推出。此前消息称该剧共13集，主角为10岁的海绵宝宝，讲述其参加住宿夏令营“珊瑚营”的故事。跟系列传统的2D动画形式不同，这部将是CG动画。
