NBC人气喜剧影集《神烦警探》（Brooklyn Nine-Nine）第七季强势回归，99分局的警探将继续带给观众无限笑料。第七季第一集，杰克和艾美进行了一个重大的讨论。艾美向杰克透露，她认为自己怀孕了，结果只是虚惊一场，最后两人达成共识决定生小孩。小两口在第六季第七集 「办案度假」（Casecation）首次讨论到生孩子，当时杰克还有点犹豫，如今夫妻俩终于要组织家庭了。对此，编剧丹尼尔·J·古尔表示：「这段故事我们争论了很久，我不希望看起来像是夫妻一定要有孩子才会幸福，不希望让人觉得有小孩是必然的。」
