本剧由全亚裔编剧打造、全亚裔演员出演，以洛杉矶和台湾为背景，主角查尔斯·孙是台北黑帮一员，他作为一名残酷的杀手生活，当他的父亲被一个神秘杀手枪击后，查尔斯必须去到洛杉矶保护母亲和完全不知情的弟弟布鲁斯。 杨紫琼饰演母亲艾琳，在洛杉矶为自己和儿子建立了新的生活，远离她在台湾的过去。 Justin Chien饰演查尔斯，是黑帮头目的长子，被培养成一个铁石心肠的罪犯。他去洛杉矶保护母亲和弟弟，发现自己在两种选择中左右为难：他从小到大的生活和他可以为自己创造的生活。 Sam Song Li饰演布鲁斯，他小时候来到美国，对台北的记忆很少，也不知道家庭的过去。当他恶名昭彰且受人尊敬的哥哥出现在他家门口时，布鲁斯被卷入了一个他完全没有准备好的世界。 Highdee Kuan饰演亚历克西斯，发愤图强和雄心勃勃的她从小就具有强烈的正义感和职业道德，后来成为了助理检察官。 Joon Lee饰演TK，是个有抱负的匪徒，也是布鲁斯从儿时起最好的朋友，他希望自己坚强、忠诚、聪明——但事实并非如此，然而这并不妨碍他尝试。 此外爱丽丝·休金饰演MayJune，Jon Xue Zhang饰演Blood Boots，Jenny Yang饰演Xing，胡紫蕊饰演Grace，Rodney To饰演Mark。 该剧由布拉德·法尔查克(《美国恐怖故事》《政客》)和Byron Wu编剧并执行制作，前者担任运作人，凯文·坦查隆(《神盾局特工》《波巴·费特之书》)执导，共8集。
