医务剧《医院革命 New Amsterdam》由David Schulner执笔﹑Peter Horton执导（前名《表维医院 Bellevue》），由纽约市表维医院前医疗主任Eric Manheimer制片，并以他所著的回忆录《Twelve Patients Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital》来改篇。 《医院革命》讲述历史悠久﹑公立的New Amsterdam医院来了位新的医疗主任Max Goodwin（Ryan Eggold饰），只要他有决心就不容旁人拒绝的他重新改写医院的内部，为这间人手﹑资金﹑重视度皆不足的医院注入新活力及回复昔日荣誉……毕竟这可是接收上至总统下至囚犯，亦是仅有能治疗埃博拉病毒的医院。 《医院革命》其他主演包括Freema Agyeman﹑Janet Montgomery﹑Jocko Sims﹑Anupam Kher及Tyler Labine。

The eighth series has been confirmed to air starting on Friday 6 January 2012 on BBC1 at 9pm. However creator Tony Jordan has said that this will be the last for at least a while and the last with the current cast. Guest stars featuring this season will include Sheila Hancock, Martin Kemp and Paterson Joseph.Peter Polycarpou and John Barrowman have also revealed on Twitter that they will have guest roles in series eight.
